NOSTALGIA

1960s Crossword Puzzles

The sixties puzzles run on the decade’s own fuel: the British Invasion on a transistor radio, the Space Race on the evening news, muscle cars in the school parking lot, and Saturday-morning cartoons with a bowl of cereal. Solvable by memory, not by research.

What the 1960s clues are made of

Expect the texture of the era rather than exam questions — lava lamps and go-go boots, Motown on the hi-fi, mimeograph paper in homeroom, the family’s first color TV, board games on a rainy afternoon. The clues anchor inside the decade and inside the American living room.

How the daily puzzle works

Every day there are two free puzzles: a quick mini and a full 11×11 themed around the era. Hidden in each day’s 11×11 is one nostalgic object — always a thing, never a person. Finish the puzzle and it reveals itself as an illustrated collectible card with a short story about what it was and what it meant. Cards collect into an album organized by decade. No account needed, and it works offline once loaded.

The 1960s album

Every 1960s card you earn files into the decade’s own pages of the album, set by set. Completing a set’s daily puzzles closes the set; each set also has bonus cards attached to deeper, harder weekly puzzles for members.
